    Tex lost an eye while fooling around with other animators. Paperclip I believe.

    @dennis: Thanks! This should’ve run a couple weeks back when “Scanners” was released (I’ll correct it for the book).

    A lot of people love Chuck Jones, but no one was funnier than Tex Avery.

    Tex was a GOD! I’m in my late 40s and I still laugh my a$$ off at his cartoons.
