Seriously, Manuel… WHICH TWO???

Thanks to David Poller for co-writing!

  1. KeithG says:

UMMMM. He probably drives a Miata and listens to Donna Summer. I would say that he drinks Cosmos but he would be more responsible than to have a Cosmo and drive his Miata. I’m going with Miata while listening to Donna Summer.

  2. jumpthesnark says:

It better not be the dancing shirtless part – he’ll have tank top tan. I’m guessing he has a deep V-neck T-shirt and listens to Donna Summer.

  3. avobaza says:

I had to look up “circuit party,” and I think that’d be hard to incorporate into Cool Jerk. So let’s say Donna Summer and “Golden Girls.”

  4. zjsimon says:

I prefer the blue and yellow equality flags to the rainbow flags, but he could probably ‘wave’ one in his own style.

  5. i showed this strip to one of my co-workers (yes he’s “family”)- he runs a gay//curious support group at the school. he plans to use it to discuss gay stereotypes/cliches, so thanks!!!!!

i think manuel shops at international male (he probably has a pair of the infamous “onion skin” shorts) and drinks Cosmos.

  6. Our Man Horn says:

@KeithG: I like your logic. Manuel is a responsible driver… but what does he drive??

@jumpthesnark: Hmm… two votes for Donna Summer!

@avobaza: Manuel, I think people automatically peg you as a Donna Summer sing-along kind of guy!

@zjsimon: Good insight, Z! I agree that Manuel would probably have an equality sticker or one of his own design.

@caninecologne: That is really awesome of you, CC. Thank you for that! And while I think I have an old International Male catalog somewhere, I can’t place the Onion Skin shorts. But I do remember The Sling and/or Banana Hammock. =:^o

  7. Steve Ebbers says:

These strips are really well done (esp. the subject matter). More Manuel, please.
