Yes, The New Lou is LOOSELY based on my hair stylist. She’s a good sport, letting me go all hyperbolic. Several of these conversations really happened. Guess which ones!

    I’m guessing the mel gibson real reason for being crazy actually came up. Did you push that real reason from your mind?

    YES! I used to get my hair cut at a barbershop owned by a couple of Russians… Not a couple of Russians, a wife and a husband… i guess it still is a couple of Russians since there are two of them. So yes, a couple of Russians.

    @Mr. Hoisington: Nope, that’s a made-up one. And that would’ve been a trick question as there are no good Whitesnake songs. @ZJS: Ha! No, but we have discussed Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan a couple of times. @KeithG: There’s a family of Romanians here in town who run a dry cleaning shop. I used to call the one guy Vlad the Press&Folder, which is nicer than “impaler.”
